I spent the whole drive to work this morning listening to "Disloyal Order of Water Buffaloes" on repeat and trying to figure out what cop show it should be vidded for. I don't know why I decided it was a cop-show vid, I just did. Anyway. I only own DVDs for three cop shows (I don't know why this was a sticking point, either, given that I don't actually vid), so it was going to be either Life, Homicide, or Due South.

I sketched out pretty complete mental vids for Life and DS. Couldn't get it to work for Homicide. (Okay, it doesn't REALLY work for the other two, either, and it's way too long to be a vid anyway, but I had fun. Even if I am pretty sure that combining Benton Fraser and Fall Out Boy would end the earth.)

I'm just saying, the line "What a match, I'm half-doomed and you're semi-sweet" is made for awwww-cute buddy-pairing shots, okay? Okay.

(Why, yes, I am avoiding thinking about something, bite me. Obsessing over imaginary vids is better than having a meltdown in the bathroom. I don't want to talk about it.)

I haven't posted in a while with the exception of some birthday wishes.

What has been going on in my life lately.
Let's see....

Work has been busy and hectic with wandering from room to room (thanks at for having to work out of cardboard boxes for 4 weeks!!!).

I am getting a new colleague (again!). It's the third in a row. Every time they know what to do I get a new one who doesn't.

I was at the Depeche Mode concert on the 10th of June at the Olympia Stadium. It was great with many people (around 68.000!). They played many of my favorite songs.

Now to the most exciting part. There is a new addition to our family! My niece has got her baby! A little boy called Lionel Jean (pronounced French, his father is French and my niece is half French).

"The Hellmouth will be opening this night."

"Then why you're here?"

"They told me to keep out of trouble." He sounds bitter.

She can relate. No matter what you do, you're the outsider.

Faith sighs. She has to go there, help them - but Xander had better stay out of it.

"That was great," she says, shoving him out of her room. "I gotta shower."
